DisplayPort – the Future of 3D-capable Computer Monitors, or Not

Currently most 3D-capable computer monitors use Dual-Link DVI interface for displaying stereo 3D content, but this interface is at its limit, so what could be the successor. DisplayPort may soon take the position or a primary interface used for 3D-capable commuter monitors as HDMI 1.4 certainly is not suitable...

i3DSteroid is a Stereoscopic 3D Photo App for iPhone and iPod touch

There are already a lot of applications for iPhone and iPod touch (should also work on iPad tablets) available on the App Store that are intended for making and viewing stereoscopic 3D photos on your device, so what sets apart the i3DSteroid? It is probably the best of them - the most user friendly and functional one...

When and How You Can Use The 3D Vision Windowed 3D Mode

The ability to run 3D applications in a window and have them displayed in stereoscopic 3D mode while the rest of the image on the screen, such as your Desktop, remains in 2D is something fairly new to 3D Vision. It is a nice feature to have at times, like when playing an online MMO game for example, but you should be aware of how and when you can use the windowed 3D mode...

YouTube has announced new interesting functionality for the stereo 3D community, namely the ability to convert the 2D videos you have uploaded into 3D format automatically with just a few clicks. Screen Mode Changer Tool for Qosmio F750/F755 3D Laptops

An interesting and useful free tool for owners of Toshiba's Qosmio F750 3D laptops (should also work on Qosmio F755, try and report that if you have one) written by Kevin Cox that allows you to change the screen mode between 2D and a few 3D options with just a keypress. The tool can be quite handy and even help you overcome some of the currently somewhat limited 3D functionality of the laptop.
